A Wage Increase for Apprentices

Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training (CWCCT) is reminding businesses that the Apprenticeship Minimum Wage will increase from £4.30 to £4.81 per hour from 1st April 2022. All employers must ensure that wages for current apprentices are updated to reflect this new legal requirement, where the minimum wage is being paid.

Warwickshire businesses are being urged not to miss out on skills support grants before the deadline date of 31st March 2022. The grants will cover training until December 2022, however all courses must be booked by the end of March. The fully-funded training focuses on helping businesses and individuals to upskill and reskill to raise productivity, and support business recovery post COVID-19.
