Job Description

A key part of the role will be to understand our back-office system. This will involve communicating with supply chain, accounts and operations to check stock levels, payments have been received, ensuring order and packing details match customer purchase orders through to invoicing.

Other duties will include:

  • As an export administrator you will assist with documentation including certificate of origins and bills of lading. Internally progress chasing all aspects of the of order status to ensure that shipments are delivered to customer on time and to their requirements.
  • Arrange for documents to be sent out and provide tracking numbers. Ensuring payment terms/payments have been received and or agreed prior to sending documents out.
  • As an export administrator you will also handle any issues that may arise and manage any queries with orders once they have been delivered.
  • Keeping master spreadsheet updated for export orders.
  • Assist with marketing material, producing samples boards for consultant approval’s.
  • Assist BDE in running day to day activities of overseas business.
  • To cover the BDE when overseas or out the office (holidays etc)
  • To present information internally and externally to a basic standard. Training can be given.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered always, exceeding customer expectations.

At certain times the roles may be required to conduct duties not specified above. These duties will not be part of the regular activities but will be required to enable flexibility within the sales function.

This role requires a well organised individual with excellent attention to detail. It would be a benefit to have a basic understanding of sales and accounts functions, as well a willing to learn international trade is desired.
