As a successful Business Administration Apprentice, you will:

  • Have a good working knowledge of all the basic Microsoft packages

Personal qualities

  • Previous experience within an office environment would be advantageous although not essential

Desired qualifications

  • No prior qualifications are required however maths and English GCSE's (or equivelent) will exempt from Funcational Skills

Future prospects

  • Opportunities for further training, progession to an advanced or higher apprenticeship may be available 
  • The candidate will be able to take on more responsibilities on completion of the apprenticeship with opportunities to progress within the company

  • Due to the nature and location of this role, you will need to have a Full UK Driving License and have your own transport

Daily Duties

Vacancy description

Sitting within the Compliance Team, which is part of the Central Services Department, your role will be to provide administration support and to assist in managing the company’s exposure to risk.

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete supplier and contractor authorisation administration
  • Identify training refreshers required across the company and book where necessary
  • Record training completed by staff
  • Raise purchase authorisation forms
  • Weekly compliance-based checks at Head Office
  • Provide reception cover during lunch hours and annual leave, as required
  • Take responsibility for managing the procedure confirmation signature sheets
  • Complete data and information security tasks
  • Vehicle management and maintenance administration
  • Compliance based administration (filing, photo copying, designing posters, issuing of paperwork)
  • Site Visits with the Compliance Team, as required
  • Provide admin support and reception duties to the wider team (Approx. 1 full day per week)
