Job Description

To provide excellent customer service by covering all administration aspects of the purchase order process and telesales calling in order to capture sales. (Expected duration 14 months.)

 Training to be provided

  • Diploma in Customer Service
  • Functional Skills (if required)
  • ERR - Employee Rights and Responsibilities
  • PLTS - Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

Daily Duties

  • Order validation of products, pricing, terms, market sector etc prior to input
  • Stock availability checks prior to picking note release
  • Credit checking and liaising with credit control
  • Despatch and booking procedures for selected customers
  • Invoicing procedures
  • EDI Transmissions
  • General telephone queries (order status, spare parts, technical information and advice
