Job Description
The client is looking for a fun, enthusiastic, and dedicated person to join and train within their friendly and supportive team.

- To be trained in the role of a Nursery Assistant;
- To contribute to providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the nursery;
- To give support to other personnel in the Nursery;
- To implement the daily routine in the room;
- To work together as a team supporting each other for the benefit of the children;
- Liaise with Parents and Carers sharing information about their child’s development;
- Where required attend College and complete assignments on time.

Desired qualifications
A good standard of education in Maths and English is required.
GCSE Maths and English will provide exemptions from Functional Skills.
Future prospects
A desire to continue with training and education. Can progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship in Early Years Educator.

You will be subject to a DBS (Criminal Record Check) for this post and must be able to obtain two references.
Daily Duties
Duties include:
- To help create an engaging and caring early learning environment for young children;
- Supporting children to learn through play;
- To work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop;
- Helping to develop day to day routines;
- Creating and setting up fun activities to engage children in learning;
- Ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
