A Special Cut for Charity

Today we had a visit in the CWCT salon from a very special young lady called Jasmine. At just six years old, Jasmine agreed to have her very long hair cut by 12 inches so it could be donated to The Little Princess Trust http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/. The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs for children dealing with hair loss. Jasmine had been planning to have a new haircut for a while and decided to donate her lovely long hair to the worthy charity.

Jasmine’s mum Anna commented: “As she learnt more about the charity and its cause, she got really excited about having it done.  We are so very proud of her.”

The special haircut was performed by Tayla Brandish (aged 16), a Level 2 Hairdressing apprentice at the CWCT Salon. The team at CWCT were so pleased to see the whole family join us for Jasmine’s big haircut and her new style looks very grown up. Her friends might not recognise her!
