Wolf Run Success for CWCT

Congratulations to the Health and Social Care Team of C&W Chamber Training (CWCT) who took part in the Wolf Run on Sunday 3rd September in Warwickshire and raised an impressive £500 for Myton Hospice.

The Wolf Run events are held four times every year in Warwickshire.  The event is an approx.10k off-road run featuring a series of physical challenges and featuring a huge number of obstacles, from lake swims to mud pits and every step is designed to test participants mentally and physically.

The concept behind the Wolf Run is to create the runners with a challenging and enjoyable event, whether it’s running in a pack or running alone as the classic lone wolf!

Diana Jackson, Sector Lead of the Health and Social Care Team at CWCT who was part of the CWCT team commented: “We all had a fantastic day and although it was tough, we are extremely proud of each other and the amount of money we have raised.

“Myton Hospice focuses on enhancing life when a cure is no longer an option.  This year they have to raise £8.8 million to continue providing this vital care. We are happy to have helped to raise £500 towards such a worthy cause."
