This half-day course provides a practical introduction to Incoterms® 2020, the internationally recognised rules that define responsibilities between buyers and sellers in global trade.

Participants will learn how Incoterms allocate costs, risks, and obligations throughout the movement of goods, from dispatch to delivery. The course explains each of the 11 Incoterms rules, highlighting key differences between them and when to use each one appropriately.

Attendees will also explore common misconceptions, such as the relationship between Incoterms and transfer of ownership, and how incorrect use can lead to delays, disputes, or unexpected costs.

With practical examples and guidance, this course equips individuals involved in sales, procurement, logistics, and finance to confidently apply Incoterms in contracts and day-to-day operations.
