The Coventry Freemen's Guild Apprentice of the Year 2019 Awards dinner was held at the historic Coombe Abbey Hotel on Tuesday 21st January 2020 when the winners of this year’s competition were announced.

At Chamber Training we are delighted to announce that one of Chamber Training's Hairdressing Apprentices, Chloe Taylor from The Cut Above in Coventry, was a finalist. Click here to find out more about Chloe's continued progress.

The event was attended by the Lord Mayor of Coventry, Cllr Linda Bigham, who is also the President of the Guild.  We were delighted with our guest speaker, Rashid Bhayat MBE, Chief Executive of The Positive Youth Foundation; who gave an interesting and inspirational talk about the challenges facing today’s youth and the importance of providing opportunities.

The award ceremony took place in the Marquee, which provided a fantastic setting for such a prestigious event.  Our thanks go to everyone at the Coombe Abbey Hotel for looking after us so well.
