Dedicated Support Line on Apprenticeships
A leading Apprenticeship provider in Coventry and Warwickshire is offering a dedicated telephone support line for advice and guidance for apprentices and their employers in these challenging times. The Government has published guidance for employers guidance-to-employers-and-businesses-about-covid-19/covid-19-support-for-businesses. Furthermore if an individual has any queries, the team at Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber Training (CWCT) are still around over the telephone or by email to help.
Sally Lucas, Executive Director at CWCT, said: “Following Government guidelines to minimise person to person contact, we took the decision to close our Coventry training centre on 23rd March 2020. However, Chamber Training remains open for business as usual with staff working from home via e-led and ICT-led solutions.
“As a business, we will continue to offer our expertise, support and commitment to all of our apprentices and other students, as well as the employers with whom we work in partnership to support the development of staff.
“Our teams will be providing advice and guidance, on-line learning modules, e-assessments and reviewing apprentices’ progress electronically. We have equipped staff with kit to keep our services running.
Furthermore, anyone wanting to consider an apprenticeship and would like to discuss what is involved and how it all works can still get in touch by email or telephone and one of our Advisors will be available to help. We are completing interviews over the telephone and enabling individuals to progress their apprenticeship career plans even at this challenging time.
